no longer missing my cat

Thu Aug 16, 2007, 1:18 PM
I let my cat outside yesterday morning as per usual and he never came home for lunch. I figured maybe he caught a mouse and satisfied his hunger but when dusk fell he still hadn't shown up. I sat outside last night for 2 hours calling for him and still no signs of Salem then or this morning. I fear for the worst.

Please keep your fingers crossed that my kitty comes home. I'm so upset I could hardly sleep last night. Uggh..

Well Salem finally came home about 10 minutes ago. He was sitting in my window looking in the house for me. I have no clue where the hell he went but he must have been pretty far because he always comes when I call him. I'm soooo glad my kitty is home. Thanks for your concern guys. I'm off to go smother him in snuggles and kisses

I hope he comes back soon.

Does he have a collar and tags, or one of the "homeagain" type of implant-things?

We used to have a cat who would stick around for a week or two then go wander and stay with alternate families for a while. He was FAT cat.

Yeah he has a collar with his name and phone number tag and his raibes vacc. tag. He's such a bad boy. I think he's leading two lives because when he came home today he smelled like girly perfume.

lol.... yeah, I think I said that my cat used to do that (not smell like girly perfume mind you). He'd vanish for a week or something but he'd just got a second (or possibly a 3rd or 4th) family he'd go and get food from.

Cats are not loyal like dogs :)

Glad he's back though.

cats are resourceful and very adaptable, He will come home soon, im sure, we used to have a cat that lived at two homes, he would stay with us for a week or 2, and bugger off, and you wouldn't see him for two weeks, and then he would be back,
i hold thimmbs for u and Salem
